Booking for independent barbers
Pompado gives your shop its own booking page - with card-on-file deposits that stop no-shows and reminders that actually arrive. One simple price. No per-chair fees. Never a commission, and never a competitor advertised next to your name.

The product
Built for owner-run shops with one to three barbers - not for salon chains, and not as a funnel into somebody else's marketplace.
pompado.com/yourshop - your name, your services, your photos. Clients book in seconds with no app and no account. The link lives in your Instagram bio and on Google.
Card on file and a deposit at booking, applied to the cut. Your cancellation policy is shown before anyone confirms - so protecting your time never costs you a client argument.
Email confirmation plus a text reminder with a reschedule link - and you can see the delivery status of every message. A silent failed reminder never costs you a chair-hour.
Today's clients, this week's booked money, and risky bookings flagged so they require a deposit. One screen you check between cuts - not an analytics course.
Walk-ins scan a QR, watch their spot from their phone, and your TV shows who's next - under your shop's name, cutting walkouts without cutting a single appointment.
"Can I get in Thursday afternoon?" gets a real answer with real open slots - booked, deposited, and on your calendar - while both your hands stay on the clippers.
Pricing
Founding pricing for the first 25 shops, held for 12 months. No setup fee, no contract, and your data walks out the door with you any day you choose.
Busy shop sending lots of reminders? A heavy month runs $44-50 all-in - we show the math up front, because surprise fees are the reason Pompado exists. Card processing for your clients' payments goes through your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard rates; your money never touches ours.
The switch
I import your clients, rebuild your service menu, and recreate your upcoming appointments - while you cut. You approve the page before anything goes live.
Your Pompado link goes in your bio and on a counter card while your old app keeps running. Zero risk to your book while you decide.
Clients, appointments, notes - exportable by you, any day, no support ticket. Leave anytime and take it all. That's in writing.
From the founder: I'm Azam - a software developer in North Texas building Pompado chair-side with my own barber. Early shops get my cell number, not a ticket queue. If a reminder ever fails, I know before you do.
Questions barbers actually ask
No. Your booking page is a normal web link - it opens from Instagram, Google, or a text. No app, no account, no password. That's the point.
Honest answer: reviews don't transfer out of Booksy - no tool can move them. What we do instead: after every appointment, Pompado texts your client a direct link to review you on Google, where reviews actually help you get found. Your Google profile becomes the asset, and nobody can take it from you.
No contract, cancel anytime, and a full export of your data (clients, appointments, services, notes) is available to you every day you're a customer - and the day you leave.
You choose the amount per service. Clients pay it when they book, through your own Stripe account, and it comes off the price of the cut. No-shows forfeit it under the policy they agreed to at booking - shown in plain English before they confirm.
Because we don't run a marketplace. The big apps spend heavily to send you "new clients," then charge commissions and per-chair fees to pay for it. Pompado only does the job your shop actually needs - booking, deposits, reminders - so the price is the price.
Never. Clients only get messages about their own appointments, only after opting in, and every text includes a way to stop. Your client list is never sold, shared, or marketed to - see the privacy policy.
Leave your email and I'll reach out personally - or skip the line and I'll come to your shop, show you everything on your own phone, and move you over for free.
