Effective date: August 10, 2026. These terms govern use of Pompado - appointment booking software for barbershops, operated from North Texas ("Pompado," "we," "us"). By creating a shop account or booking an appointment through a Pompado page, you agree to them.
Pompado provides barbershops ("Shops") with a booking page, calendar, deposit collection, and appointment notifications. Pompado is software: the appointment itself is between you and the Shop. Shops set their own services, prices, deposit amounts, and cancellation policies, which are displayed before a booking is confirmed.
Payments and deposits are processed by Stripe through the Shop's own Stripe account - the Shop is the merchant of record, its name appears on your statement, and refunds for services or deposits are issued by the Shop under the policy shown at booking. By saving a card or paying a deposit, you authorize the Shop to charge the disclosed deposit, service amounts you approve, and the no-show or late-cancellation fee stated in the policy you accepted when booking. Disputes about a specific appointment are resolved with the Shop first; we'll help both sides with records.
Shop plans are billed monthly (Solo $19/mo; Shop, up to three bookable barbers, $35/mo - founding pricing, held 12 months for founding shops) with included text-message allowances (250/750 segments per month respectively). Additional segments are billed at $0.02 each and itemized on every invoice. Texas sales tax is applied where required. Cancel anytime from your account; service continues to the end of the paid period. No commissions, no per-barber fees, no cancellation fees - ever.
Shops own their client records, appointment history, services, and notes. A complete self-service export is available at all times, including after cancellation for 60 days. We never market to a Shop's clients or share one Shop's data with another.
No unlawful use, no uploading content you don't have rights to, no attempting to break or overload the service, and no using Pompado's messaging to send anything other than genuine appointment communications. We may suspend accounts that put other customers, clients, or message deliverability at risk - with notice and a data export except where abuse is severe.
We work hard to keep Pompado reliable (status page, monitored notifications, nightly backups), but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pompado's total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees the Shop paid in the three months before the event. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, with venue in Collin County, Texas. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms with notice to Shops; continued use after the effective date is acceptance. Questions: hello@pompado.com.
